Ensenda-Incompetant Failures
Ive been sent packages from Amazon via Ensenda twice and twice they failed to deliver. I live in an apt. I have never had any issues receiving packages from UPS or FEDEX, but Ensenda doesn't seem to be able to even get out of their vehicle and walk it into the office. I called when they failed to deliver it (they didn't contact me) and talked to someone who assured me they would deliver it the next day to the office. As a shortcut to work or thinking they instead returned it to Amazon. Why are they still in business?

Ensenda fakes deliveries
I was thrilled to see from the Amazon.com tracking page that my package had been delivered earlier to my front door, odd that I hadn't noticed because I was sitting nearby and missed the doorbell. I just assumed ninjas delivered my package, AWESOME! But.. (no surprise for people who have dealt with Ensenda) there was no package. Odd, I thought. I went and checked all the other doors to no avail. Curiouser and curiouser... fast forward a few days and, again no surprise to Ensenda customers, still no package. Calls to Ensenda customer support lead to: A. the run-around with the operator "calling the delivery agent" and "not being able to reach them" (please supply the air-quotes) but "would call me back" when they did. No calls came, i started to become worried... mayhaps the delivery agent from Ensenda had been abducted by aliens! Should of reported him a missing person after the 48 hours had passed...) B. my package had been stolen! HORRORS! the first package in twenty years of having items delivered safely to my house had been stolen, according to the operator, which is odd because I was home when the "delivery" happened and checked outside a few hours after the supposed delivery to find no package (sad trombone). Should note my home is out in the country, set back from the street, in a wooded lot with a long long driveway... ie. the front door is not visible from the street, so unless a mischievous fox or raccoon had pilfered my delivery then I doubt someone on my country road had ambled along with binoculars and decided to steal an amazon package. This is especially telling when you notice how often this story of packages being "stolen" plays out across the internet in complaints dealing with Ensenda. Ensenda should develop a new Customer Support canned response where they note a nationwide epidemic of package stealing that only affects them. Take home message: Their operators will play the "let me talk to the driver and get back to you" game (delay, delay) Then they will play the package was delivered and stolen from your property gambit (deflect, deflect) Fortunately the above gambit also involves a transfer to amazon support and a full replacement with 1-day shipping, so that is cool. Amazon needs to reign in this horrible delivery company, I would gladly pay 10 dollars more on 2-day shipping to avoid these scam artists in the future. Have dealt with amazon with no issues for a decade(?) now, but will not order any longer until I can be assured Ensenda will not be delivering my packages. OH WAIT, I can be almost 100% assured Ensenda won't deliver my packages already! Ensenda blows and is a dishonest company, I hope they die and burn in ***.

Ensenda is Ruining Amazon's Reputation
Amazon now uses a very unreliable delivery system called Ensenda. You should do a search for reviews about Ensenda before engaging in a transaction with Amazon for physical products. You will find many complaints and horror stories from disappointed Amazon customers. Story after story. My most recent item [below $28] never arrived and finally I got a notice from Amazon reporting that the item was returned as "undeliverable" In the future, I am electing never to order anything from Amazon except Kindle downloads. There was no reason for the item to be considered undeliverable. I receive shipments every week here.

Ensenda delivery guy threw package at me
I ordered something from Amazon and Ensenda delivered it this morning. I live in a very small apartment with a high gate. The delivery guy buzzed my apartment, so I went down to get it. I live in the 2nd floor, so it only took a few seconds to get down there. When I came out, he threw the package over the high gate at me! Then he walked away, like that was the perfectly acceptable thing to do. I was too shocked to even yell out at him. I'm too angry for polite words anyway. Who does that?? Ensenda, apparently.

Ensenda is the WORST at Delivery and Customer Service!
I sat at home for 2 days for a package to be delivered. The first day was marked as "delivery attempt unsucessful".... NO ONE EVER RANG THE DOORBELL!!! The second day, I contacted customer service... A representative named Jeremy refused to assist me and begin screaming at me because I requested that the package be tracked! I then asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that he dosent need a supervisor and the supervisor is probably out to lunch. He would not even give me the supervisors name! I called back and found out that Matt was the supervisor for this shift and that he was available.

REPORT ALL ENSENDA DELIVERY OFFENSES TO THE BBB
I am an Amazon Prime customer. I have experienced two (2) delivery problems - in the last 30 days - with Ensenda. The most recent non-delivery problem: February 29th, 2012. Item was suppose to be delivered by 8PM cst on Wednesday, February 29th. Tracking on amazon.com stated that item was "in transit". The item was never delivered. And, even though my cell phone number is clearly printed on shipping label, no Ensenda representative (carrier included) attempted to call my phone. This is not the first bad experience I have had with Ensenda. Last month, I called the corporate office to complain about another non-delivery. During that call, I instructed Ensenda delivery drivers to call my cell phone (on all shipping labels) anytime there is a delivery issue - to eliminate delivery cover-ups / cover-overs. That request was not honored by Ensenda. For the record, every Amazon order that is shipped to my place of residence includes my cell phone number on the shipping label. THE REPEATED, AND UNPROFESSIONAL DELIVERY PRACTICES FROM ENSENDA IS INEXCUSABLE! Amazon is complicit because of their refusal to drop an atrocious "delivery" company from their network. RECOMMENDATION FOR ALL: REPORT ENSENDA TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU (BBB) EVERY TIME A CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES A DELIVERY OFFENSE. WWW.BBB.ORG. AMAZON STOCK IS FALLING - REPUTATION, AND ALL.

Now Ensenda claimed that they tried making a delivery, yet no one shows up. Never do business with this company!

I sent an email regarding finding a phone number & local warehouse. Perhaps they\'ll be more helpful online.
Original review Mar 27, 2012
Amazon has started using different carriers for shipping & Ensenda is one of them. But this isn't about Amazon, it's about Ensenda service. There is no way to contact their local warehouse to let them know i want to pick it up (the only number i found was their basic hotline & they won't.. or cant help me in locating the warehouse). This is honestly worse then UPS because at least i know their number & where i can pick it up. However, Ensenda i can't locate a number let alone have no idea where i could pick up the package. The only thing i can do is wait to see if they'll drop the package, either that they'll end up sending my package back because i have no way of contacting the driver or the warehouse. This is ridiculous.

Package not delivered
I tracked my Amazon package today and it said it was delivered this morning by Ensenda and left by my side door. Bottom line, I have no side door and no package. And I pay for Amazon Prime for this? BTW, they are birthday gifts for my grandaughter. I have never had a problem in the past when delivered by UPS. Also, when the order was placed, it said it would be delivered tomorrow so I was shocked to see it was "delivered" today, even though it wasn't. The girl on the phone with Amazon was helpful and said if it didn't show up by tomorrow she would send out another order.

I HATE THIS COMPANY
I ordered a package for my sisters birthday through my amazon prime account. I pay for one day shipping so it could be here early and on time just in case any mishaps happen. Well, some *** left the package at my front door ignorant of that next door they sell candy and ***... with signs plastered everywhere. Now i have to wait for them to come back and check to see if they see the package and then reorder it. Im just flabbergasted that these dumb *** had the nerve to say that he guess that that was a good place to leave a package...***!!

Ensenda
I recently ordered something from amazon. They shipped it ensenda. Ensenda claimed to have tried delivering it on a saturday. I was home the entire day waiting for it and they never showed up. So when they finally did deliver the package to me it was open. There was nothing missing, but come on your suppose to be a reputable delivery service. Ensenda is not a good delivery service. Avoid if possible. I had absolutely no problem with amazon. I am also going to write an email to Amazon to explain my situation and try and convince them to use a better delivery service.

Idiots who can't read deliver the packages it seems...
A purchase made through Amazon was inexplicably shipped with these Ensenda yahoos when normally UPS delivers. We were waiting for our book and heard a truck sound so my husband looked out the window... despite our address being in large black letters on our house next to the door the driver "delivered" the package to an unmarked, abandoned house diagonally across the street (so on the odd not even side). There is no contact information about Ensenda on their website for us to complain at, no phone number or even a webform. I am extremely upset, this was an expensive book. What if we hadn't heard the truck? What if it was raining? No one would have known for days because we don't typically check the empty house down the street for our mail.

Ensanada has gone 4 days past due with an Amazon shipment and I have no ability to trace
I agree with another post on this site. Ensanada shipping is 4 days past due on a shipment and i have no response and no ability to trace it. Frustration level is high. The item shipped on December 2,2011 and was supposed to be delivered by 12/5/11. The item, a book which I needed urgently, was last seen in Whitestown IN US and I can get no word from this cut rate shipper.and I have no way to tell Amazon about the problem so I am venting on this complaint website which came up when I googled Ensanada as a the supposed shipper.

Cussed and yelled at!
I ordered something through amazon.com and am always please from start to finish. NOT this time. This new delivery company if they can be called that, called me and when I said hello she instantly started to yell at me. "Where in the *** are you?". I had no clue who it was and once she said she had a delivery I tried to figure out how lost she was. When I tried to explain the direction I live (Because it is in the country) she then called me an *** from hillbillyville.I had no clue where she was and she then laughed and told me.."Well, guess you won't be getting your package until you figure it out will you?" After 15 minutes on the phone she told me to go stand out in the road and look for her. Now, it is cold and rainy here but because I really needed this package I did it. When she pulled up she said..You really shouldn't be such a F$$$ tard and learn your own address." I pointed to the mailbox which had my address and the other place that had my address. I asked whom she worked for and she pointed to her shirt and sped away. I will never EVER shop through amazon again! EVER!

Ensenda Lies, and Makes Me Waited Two Days At Home
I ordered a video camera from Amazon for the next-day delivery. On Friday (Oct. 21, 2011), I called Ensenda and was told it would be delivered next day. I waited the whole day at home, but nobody showed up. However, when I called them, they said they tried but I was not at home ( What a lie !!! ). I checked their on-line tracking records, and found no record for the attempted delivery. This morning(Sunday), I called Ensenda again, and was told it would be delivered today between 8 am - 8 pm. I waited antoher whole day, and no delivery happened ( now it is 8:30 pm ). I just called Ensenda, and was told their dispatch department was closed.

Ensenda is the worse delivery company
I have had ensenda deliver a few times but this is the worse I have ever seen. This was captured on a frieds security camera. The delivery guy only walks about halfway up the sidewalk and then decides its to far for him to go so he just throws it the rest of the way. I know Amazon does a farely good job packaging things but very few fragile things would surrvive this. Luckily for my friend it was just a cable so no damage was done but it could have easily have been the powersupply he had delivered the next day. http://youtu.be/h3RCbkc1OP8

Ensenda lied about delivery of package
I've ordered hundreds of items from Amazon. Live at a condo complex. Ensenda apparently refuses to use the phone to ring any apartment, nor will they leave the packages in our package receiving office. They mark attempted deliveries but obviously made no attempt. Then the final delivery is marked as delivered, but of course no package, and no phone call to even unlock the front door of the complex. Who knows what they did with the package? Are they leaving packages out in the open? Are the drivers stealing them? Either way, Amazon needs to stop using this carrier! Amazon has been very responsive and replaced the items at no charge that Ensenda lied about delivering, but still, what a terrible experience.

for your delivery frustrations you are correct but who you are frustrated at is wrong. Ensenda has delivered to several properties of which we have had no problem.
You must understand that not every delivery company is the same and Ensenda is a very personal comapny in size and stature. You should request your carrier according to your locations.
Ensenda needs to be able to text before arrival and an apartment complex does not care nor do they care of indivdual packages. I know i have lived and worked in an apartment complex.
